Over 400 attendees, among them public officials, manufacturers and small business owners, participated a special luncheon honoring former Chicago Mayor Daley with a Lifetime Achievement award. The luncheon was sponsored by Alliance for Illinois Manufacturing and NORBIC, a non-profit collaboration of government-sponsored business centers and a membership organization for northern Illinois businesses and professionals that serve them.
Sports Awards Chicago was represented by Sales Executive Jason Newton, who was honored to present Mayor Daley with the "Made for Chicago" Award, a dramatic acrylic award both designed and manufactured in Sports Awards' northwest side Chicago plant.
